We all looked forward to "Caprica" with baited breath.....and it turned out to be a rather naff soap-opera which didn't get renewed in time for them to get to the really interesting bits of the story they had planned. I'll therefore keep my excitement for this muted for now.

You forgot to add that the character will be non white

I thought that Starbuck as a woman worked in the plot of BSG. Especially the plot arc when she was captured by the cylons.
