But there are very many more. Cadbury's Flake ad? Shake 'n' vac was amusing.

Have you got a copy of Fly Fishing, by J R Hartley?

And he says if I don't drink lots of milk, I'll only be good enough to play for Accrington Stanley.

Accrington Stanley? Who are they?

Exactly.

Only the other day I suddenly remembered "Suntime Holiday Advertising", which if I recall correctly was the intro for a group of holiday adverts all lumped together. I think these were at the cinema, though I might be wrong, it might have been shown during films on the TV at Christmas. I have a vague recollection of being with the rest of the family while they were on, which doesn't narrow it down much. We didn't really watch ITV when I was young, but a decent film at Christmas would have been an exception. Equally we might have seen them while on holiday - we used to do Butlins quite a lot, and the cinema was free so we saw a few things there too.

And the Midland Bank advert with the pyramid of blokes on the back of a motorbike used to come up around the same time.

Probably not strictly nostalgic, although it was 2005!

RS4 advert.

I believe the caption translates to "you can't trust every old lady, but you can trust a Golf".

For men who don't have to try................too hard

hehe

Mainly remembered, for me, for the backing music which could be Gary Numan (and back in the day, as an 11 or 12 year old, I loved Numan's work)

That Tango ad as well rofl Forgot about that one
