Yes the solicitor was acting a little over familiar with him, body language etc. I'm not sure kidnapping and beating drug dealers (although I didn't have much sympathy for them) is the best way of making money. The victims of these kidnappings now know the guys names and have the contacts (possibly) and finance to meet out their own retribution.
I did think that the Paris chap is he had some moral guidance and mentoring at a much earlier age he could have been another Anthony Joshua or Courtney Lawes, just a thought.
