ITV 3 is showing a load of the classic Carry On movies over Easter.. Doctor, Matron, Screaming, Jack, Behind, Loving, Girls, etc, etc.
I wonder how much will be cut for modern audiences, but I love these old classics. Up the Khyber is my personal favourite of those on this weekend.
Anyone else a fan?

Khyber and Clio and the best for me

Been watching a few and it is surprising how dated they feel now, some were terrible convenience and behind plus others

I like convenience. Bit of satire on 70’s unions.

Have them all on dvd, and now ripped to Plex for convenience. I had the full set on VHS first and then the dvd version, ehich for some reason doesn't include carry on Columbus, but still calls itself the complete boxset

Up the Khyber is by far the best and still raises a chuckle. It suspect it has been trimmed a bit to suit the professionally offended by proxy groups, but it's still great.

Carry on Behind (I think) is the one with the delectable Elke Sommer. No matter whether the film was good, she was gorgeous.

Reminds of a sketch on the old radio show 'Hello Cheeky'

Something about the others being angry at Caeser eating all the biscuits. They group together and stab him. Brutus plunges the last knife in.

Caeser "Et Tu Brutus"

Brutus "More like the whole bleedin' packet".

We’ve been introducing our 13 year old to the Ealing comedies, which he’s loving. Being autistic he often finds modern films too much a sensory assault, so older films work really well for him.

Can anyone suggest a good couple of Carry On’s to start him with?
