This doesn't seem to be the type of castingIi would expect to take over the Indy role, which is what a lot of places are reporting, as she's not exactly got the physicality of a Tomb Raider type person so I wonder what role she'll be playing?

She plays a detective going after all the looted treasure that Indy has been thieving since the first scene of ROTLA.
A whole civilization and temple destroyed by the man so he can bring a gold statue back to america.
Along with Jaws,the Raiders films peddle a pretty ignorant view of the world. Typical of a shut in like spielberg that did nothing but watch the TV as a child.
I think he grew up eventually with some of his boring newer films.

Nothing to add on Phoebe's casting except I'll wait and see.

However someone mentioned Mola Ram and I just remembered this scene, growing up always thinking wtf actually happened here.
Makes me laugh whenever I see it now.

Those 'rumours' came from one particularly ridiculous You Tuber, one of those who regularly entirely makes stuff up. Director James Mangold immediately pointed out on his twitter that there hadn't been any test screenings at all...

There's something about her I just don't like. Not sure what, can't put my finger on it.

Maybe because the first time I saw her she played someone conniving in Broadchurch and I can't get it out of my mind.
