ITV's Lorraine show has "scientific document" showing two views from the same spot of the Himalayas pre and post lockdown. This clearly shows the air is "much cleaner after lockdown". Allegedly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df9ViVC_veE

It also shows two blokes in the bottom right, both in exactly the same pose and wearing the same clothes and 2 washing lines with the same laundry out to dry.

TV companies blatantly lying to promote an agenda?

A few of the disciples have explained ( hehe ) it away over here, standard procedures...attack poster or attack source but at no point acknowledge the content.

Nothing to see it would seem.
Certainly an entertaining few pages, embarrassing to read the desperation and deliberate ignorance. You would have thought the best thing to do was acknowledge it, recognise it as the wrong thing to do and admit that it doesn’t do any favours when it’s there in the mainstream, but no, common sense goes out of the window.
I guess the best thing to do is just don’t question things, you know, like a religion, not like science.

The split photo is clearly dodgy (looks like the same photo to me and someone's done some photoshopping of the mountains to create a before/after).

But the story is basically true I think. You'll find the original photo along with many others harvested from social media in news articles (from April 2020) here:

As usual those who wrap themselves in sceptical superiority don't like scepticism being applied to their arguments.

I can well believe it being true. And perhaps, they didn’t have or couldn’t find the correct images so some enterprising chap with an Adobe creative cloud subscription sorted them out. Clearly, it’s not the correct way scientifically is it and it doesn’t help their argument.

I’m sure they could have used some other location. I bet HK would have been a good one if there was a reduction. I mean the government there actually put up big hoardings with clear blue sky photos of the skyline for tourists to take a picture against because the real thing was smog city (blown over from mainland China).

It's not the correct way photo-journalistically, let alone scientifically. Someone's fked up somewhere

Does this article from an Obama scientist make people reconsider? https://nypost.com/2021/04/24/obama-admin-scientis...
