Hi All

I am stuck in central europe with their TV and the likes or netflix/Amazon etc are very limited as regards to content relative to the UK. Is there a box or a stick i can get which would allow me to watch UK content? I have a vpn account i just dont know how to get the actual channels.

thanks in advance

An Amazon Firestick might suit you as it has the catchup channels like iPlayer ITV Hub & All4 (plus others):

A Roku stick is another excellent option:

I moved from Fire TV to Nvidia Shield(s) as my TV box of choice. It's much more powerful and more flexible (at least for what I want to do) but more expensive too. It's Android TV based so there should be a choice of VPN apps from the common providers (edited to add - or sideloading your current provider if it's not available as an app). Then it's just a case of picking a UK server.

The Sheild is a nice device but I'd suggest it is probably more suited to home use & would be a bit of lump to carry round: at £180 it's also a pretty punchy price for a streaming box.

easiest answer is the amazon firestick and choose a VPN that has a firestick app available.
you can then be 'virtually' in the UK (or anywhere that your VPN covers).

I've used my firestick all over Europe.

Seems to be that as long as the Prime/Netflix account is based in UK (ie registered to a UK address and bank) then you can still watch UK stuff when abroad even on hotel wifi
