Anyone else watched it and thought great idea, good scenes, acting etc bit it stretches out material to be wafer thin?

I've seen alot of this recently on netflix, an idea that would fill a film but its stretched out to fill many hours.

The 'bad' guys are pushed forward. Take over then killed each season.

Is this the same Last Kingdom that started on the BBC. About the Anglo-Saxons?

If it is I enjoyed it at the time but don't have Netflix so haven't seen this series.

OP makes a fair point but we quite enjoy this show, even though it is probably stretched out a bit too far.

Read somewhere the other day that they're busy making another series at the moment; presumably going on Netflix.

I really enjoyed Last Kingdom, more than Vikings to be honest, now THAT really was stretched to breaking point...
