I watched the one the other day featuring the couple in Bromley.

It was quite interesting as we’re building an extension at the moment.

We were very sceptical of the costings... Unless they’ve used very cheap construction materials and a bargain basement kitchen I would have estimated the costs as much higher than they claimed.

My partner had it on and I told her to turn it down as it seemed to consist of half an hour of a couple staring through a VR headset whilst screeching and repeating the phrase 'oh my god' or 'oh my days'.

Being from the same borough I was trying to work out where exactly the house was located but couldn't place it.

I find these programs are quite disparaging towards the males on the show as they inevitably have to give up their space (the garage) to enable the architects vision.

The garage was full of junk (as most are), the winning plan kept almost all of it.

I'm also in Bromley, it kind of looks familiar but not been able to place where. Can't be many roads around a big green like that.

I’ve been watching the recent episodes of this.

IMHO it’s really irresponsible of the architects to sell the dream of a major remodelling of a couple’s house on their budget as the actual job invariably costs considerably more.

They should have a builder on the show to critique the architect’s vision. He could suck his teeth and ask which 60% of the design they are actually going to build for the available money.

I find it a very watchable programme and better than most of these make over ones that are starting to rise again.

I see Tinie Tempah is getting in on the action too.
