I'm finding YouTube Music quite annoying. When I listen to an album which contains some tracks that were released as singles, these tracks are the single version, complete with music video. This wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for the fact that the audio on the music videos has been mastered to a completely different level to the album tracks. They're so quiet I have to turn them up, then get deafened if the next track is an album track that wasn't released as a single and therefore has no video and is louder. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes its ridiculous that YT music is lacking in so many basic features compared to other streaming services. Sound normalisation should have been in from the start.

The problem would be avoided entirely if they simply put the album versions of all the tracks on an album, rather than substituting tracks that have been released as singles with the single version that has a video.

I got YT music included with a recent subscription to YT Premium. I played about with it for a bit but I don’t think it is a patch on Spotify.
