The SKY and Others etc Heads-Up Decent Stuff Thread
Discussion
I've wondered why we don't have a catch-all thread for general Sky content ala the Netflix and Amazon ones, not just for the Sky labelled channels; Film4, Alibi, SyFy,Horror Channel, I-Player, whatever? I appreciate the content can be available without Sky, but it's not a bad platform (for now, until Glass..)
I've noticed every series of Veep is now available via Sky Comedy, I managed to watch from series 3 ownwards earlier in the year. I don't tend to watch many comedy efforts but had wondered about this one for a while; lockdown lead me to watch it and I really enjoyed it. I realise it's not far removed from The Thick of It, another one I intended to eventually watch and then it migrated to BritBox.
What else are you lot watching that perhaps doesn't warrant its own thread but worth a mention?

Caught the end of a trailer for Temple last night, hopefully a new season, I didn't see the whole thing. I enjoyed the first one.
Yes, I quite enjoyed the first series and somewhat thought provoking. I wasn't sure if it would make it to a second one, it can be hard to judge how successful a series is.One Sky recommendation would be the briliant and brutal Gomorrah.
Four series on Sky and a fifth starting in November:

Couple of films on later, both of which I feel worth giving a go.
Manhunter on ITV4 HD (120 on Sky) at 21.00. The first film portrayal of Hannibal Lector I believe. No Hopkins, but a few faces you should recognise. This is from 1986 and directed by Michael Mann, of its time perhaps but I don't see that as a bad thing.
Revolver on Comedy Central HD (112 on Sky) at 23.00. If you can tolerate Jason Statham and a not one of his best efforts from Guy Ritchie, I'd recommend. Not a bad cast either, and close to hitting the spot.
