Hi,

my boy (9) and I have have just finished Cobra Kai which he loved and I really enjoyed sitting watching an episode an evening with him. We previously did this with The Mandolorian.

Now I've run out of inspiration and I can't really face another episode of Spongebob

Any suggestions for other kid friendly, adult enjoyable TV series?

The Marvel spin-offs on Disney Plus? There’s seven series of Agents of Shield, a couple of Agent Carter, Loki, Wandavision, a couple of series of The Gifted plus a few others I’ve not yet worked my way through. I’d say all of the above are PG standard.

Loki, Wandavision, Falcon & Winter Soldier, What If.., if he's a fan of the Marvel Stuff.

Everybody Hates Chris. It's a family set in Brooklyn in the 70's. Main character is a black kid maybe 8yo who lives in a deprived area and struggles as he's new to the area. It has a voiceover from Chris Rock as the kid is him but younger.
My lad enjoyed it and I told a colleague who watches it with her kids and they all love it.

Kinda like The Wonder Years with Fred Savage if you remember that?

If the adult brain can deal with a very high strength dose of weird then Adventure Time is a great 12min per episode wind-down watch.

Ghosts and The goes Wrong Show are great but in limited supply.

Avatar the last Airbender is good if you're enjoy animation, although child friendly it has some big themes for grown ups to digest. Great voice cast too.

As mentioned the Star Wars cartoons are very good, Clone Wars, Bad Batch and Rebels. They on the Star Wars home page of D+ they have a couple of sections that focus on key Clone Wars episodes, or key Ahsoka episodes (comprising Clone Wars and Rebels) to prepare him for the Ahsoka series when it comes out.
