Apple TV on my old ipad
Discussion
I have an old iPod I barely use but today I fancied trying to watch the TV series For All Mankind, which is only on Apple.
I noticed the Apple TV app which I'd never seen before, maybe it came with an update.
So clicked on it thinking it'd ask for my payment card but the 1st episode was free. I've just watched it, enjoyed it thus clicked on the next episode thinking now I will be asked for money but it's just started and I'm watching it now.
So how am I paying for it?
Puzzled.

Have you bought an Apple product recently? They’re chucking in a year of Apple TV+ free with a lot of devices at the moment…
BTW you have stumbled across about the only thing worth watching on the service. It’s exceptional and keeps the quality up throughout.
Ted Lasso is worth a go too.,,

No, it's an ancient iPad and I've just checked and my account has an expired credit card.
No idea how come it's letting me watch the series.
Your account isn’t linked to a family member’s who has an Apple One subscription is it? That’s the only other explanation that springs to mind. No idea how come it's letting me watch the series.
