Current one has had the guy go wrong way on freeway, play cat and mouse with the CHP and drive around spike strips. Currently trying to do a pit on him or her.

Understandably, as many “perps” are armed, you don’t get stand offs in Police interceptors. They just smash the windows in and drag the crim out. And you learn the Police man’s nickname/first car or favourite tv show.

They are interesting that dependant on the multiple law enforcement agencies that may,
or may not be involved in the chase [ the US would save billions if they had one Police force instead of separate city,county, state forces ] the strategy , or lack of , to bring the chase to an end is hilarious as it is frustrating.

The favoured strategy is to follow the miscreant with as many police cars as possible and wait for the chasee scumbag/junkie/murderer to bash into a poor innocent civilian at 76 mph.
