Just come down to see the youngest watching Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger.
The earlier one was bad but this takes it to a new level of junk

I can think of others to avoid but this turd was a new one on me

You should see Nativity 3! rofl

Nativity 2 is genuinely a masterpiece in comparison. They are kids films though.

I thought this was going to be about those American Hallmark Xmas films that are on Channel 5 all day and on other specifically Christmas film channels. There seems to be thousands of them!

According to the RLM guys Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure is supposed to be absolutely awful.

Shame as National Lampoons Christmas vacation 1 is a classic and cousin Eddie is a fun supporting character in that.

I generally hate 'Christmas movies' so this year I'll play it safe and watch Threads. With some Special Brew. On my own biggrin

Mrs put ‘Single all the way’ (Sky movies) on the other day, we’re gave up after 5 minutes it was that bad.

They're all terrible with the following exceptions:

Groundhog Day (has snow, is acceptable)
Die Hard

I suppose it pays, but it's got to be pretty embarassing for the actors who are in these films.

My wife has these on in the afternoon and they all appear to be the same. In fact there's a bunch of them where I'm sure the town is the same.

Bad Santa is barely tolerable.

Otherwise they're all dreadful. Including Die Hard.

My OH puts these cheap Xmas TV movies on in the afternoon.

The plots are almost identical.

Cute (without being dazzling) single woman who has somehow not fulfilled her potential, in American small town festooned with surprising number of Christmas lights is trying to save local toy shop/library/bookshop from closure. Meets wholesomely attractive single businessman who works too hard and doesn't like Christmas.

Her quirky charm wins him round to helping her with her endeavour. He in turn somehow releases her unfulfilled potential. They get together by the end of the film, by which I mean they kiss in a way that wouldn't upset the Hays Code.

Cute children and wise old women as supporting cast abound.

Threads is a great film but even by my standards is a bit 'dark' for Christmas time. Good shout on the special brew though thumbup

isn't there a Sky channel that shows dreadful Christmas films non-stop? They usually feature that guy who played Superman in the TV series, but looking enormously overweight.

Pair it with The Day After so you can laugh at Mahoney going bald due to radiation poisoning.

Santa Clause v The Devil

Like a bad cheese dream

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053241/

It's all fked up, but the singing kids scene, which goes on forever from 3mins is bizarre and the rest of the film is equally unhinged...

You forgot the twist that the hard working businessman is the one who’s been sent to the town to close down the toy shop/library/bookshop.
