Don't know where to start with this one. Many questions...

But how about fixing the "chimlee" as a starter for 10!

What gets me, and i'm not watching, is how someone so morally bankrupt gets so much screen time.

Because we are watching it (it's either this or doing the staff's wages). That's some herpes on them lips. There's a local stove shop to me who's run by the nomadic types, they use the word chimlee too.

Because it seems people will watch it. I would rather poke my own eyes out.

Caught this at a friend's yesterday (on the background and it was a like a car crash)...was anyone else left dumbfounded when she cut those teddies in half and glued them to placemats, before sticking them to the wall?

I couldn't stop laughing, it was bizarre.

I was watching this show last night out of pure curiosity initially and i'm glad I did, because it certainly was quite entertaining from a 'car crash TV' point of view......I'm keen to see how much more staging will take place with regards to smashing things just for effect....i.e. who really takes 2 'chimlee' pots up when only 1 was required....? I don't Steve the builder expected her to drop it onto the actual roof though laugh

Noting the number of contractors vans in the 'garden' at one point, I assume the renovations will be massively accelerated in the background through various stages, much like on Escape to the Chateau, whereby half the work (by others) is overlooked to keep the flow of the show. (The finished bedroom for example was almostly certainly repainted by Steve or another team).

Lastly - who else noted her sitting next to the bloke sandblasting the staircase with full hood and BA, complaining it was getting dusty. I for one, personally can't get enough of the idiocy....

Could you explain how she is morally bankrupt?

Yup, all of that, plus just another version of the Beeney / Allsopp school of arts and crafts movement.

She's getting paid £45k for filming and C4 are paying for the renovation work on the house.

The renovation work is going to be a fortune, the house is a wreck. If she is getting 45k on top she’s definitely winning.

Car crash telly at it’s best.

Are you sure? I heard that all those chateau owners on 'DIY' (apart from Dick Strawbridge of course) got zip for appearing?

yes, I know she's got her knockers, but I wouldn't go that far.
