Because we are watching it (it's either this or doing the staff's wages). That's some herpes on them lips. There's a local stove shop to me who's run by the nomadic types, they use the word chimlee too.
I was watching this show last night out of pure curiosity initially and i'm glad I did, because it certainly was quite entertaining from a 'car crash TV' point of view......I'm keen to see how much more staging will take place with regards to smashing things just for effect....i.e. who really takes 2 'chimlee' pots up when only 1 was required....? I don't Steve the builder expected her to drop it onto the actual roof though 
Noting the number of contractors vans in the 'garden' at one point, I assume the renovations will be massively accelerated in the background through various stages, much like on Escape to the Chateau, whereby half the work (by others) is overlooked to keep the flow of the show. (The finished bedroom for example was almostly certainly repainted by Steve or another team).
Lastly - who else noted her sitting next to the bloke sandblasting the staircase with full hood and BA, complaining it was getting dusty. I for one, personally can't get enough of the idiocy....
