Murder in the Valleys - 4-part series on Sky Crime
Discussion
We've only watched 3 of the 4 episodes so far but some of the twists and turns are so unreal that I can barely believe they actually happened!
The main copper being absolutely adamant that they got the right man though is winding me up, when there is so much that could point at the other main 'suspects'.

Seems to me, Morris stitches himself up by being a bit of a Walt, lying and perpetuating those lies, instead of just shutting up. The twists and turns are IMO no coincidence, seem to have exploited his waltness!
What’s a Walt ? What is odd is when challenged the original SIO stated when questioned if a say husband found out about adultery of his own wife he wouldn’t think that is any reason to suspect guilt of murder. In fact he went further and stated there is no example of that ever that he is aware.
Now I’ve no idea if there is or isn’t any formally guilty husband who murdered the person boning his mrs - but I’d wager there is at least one heck plenty & certainly a reason to want revenge. It seems odd to the extreme no to think it doesn’t.
That aside from what was in the documentary and from my vague memories of it back in the day Morris was guilty.
I think that there is certainly evidence that points towards Morris but there is equally compelling evidence to the Lewises, what I can't understand is why South Wales Police won't release the DNA result to the family of David Morris, if they are commited to transparency this doesn't sit right.
Watched all 4 episodes yesterday.
There seems to be a lot of contradictory evidence, all three (or four) main parties lying
At the end I still wasn't convinced they'd got the right person and wife felt the same.
What I did wonder about was SWP covering for two policemen and one ex-police woman. protecting their own?

The police were very careful how they worded the DNA result and said something like "the DNA suggests Morris is more likely to be responsible, than not responsible". However, all this means is his DNA is a more than 50% match. I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure a lot of guys would be a 51% match.
So, I reckon the report has been suppressed because it would show the raw DNA result is a closer match to one of the Lewis's, than Morris.
