binge or wait for each episode?
Discussion
with the advent of streaming we've now got the ability to gorge ourselves on various series, both new and old, but what is your preferred method of consumption? For example we're really enjoying Justified on Amazon having missed it when it first came out - the advantage being there is no need to try and remember what happened last series (a little like being able to read all the books in a series without having to wait 8 years for the following book <cough cough> Game of Thrones). Now however there's the new season of Peaky Blinders on terrestrial and following the traditional 'one a week' release - great if you're in the office and have a water-cooler chat but with a sizable proportion still WFH that's not really a thing anymore.... or is it?
I think with me I like to see a series have an ending or finish. It can be frustrating watching a series that gets cancelled after one series with no ending.
On the other had you find something that has ended and has multiple seasons and trying to binge it you can get get fed up with it. Not always as I really liked Black Sails, Justified and a few more.

I think you can get some self development if you watch an episode at a time on a weekly basis because the ideas that the show brings you will be able to float around your mind a bit, where as if you watch the lot in one weekend, you won't really appreciate any of it with so much cramming.
I have watched The Sopranos about 3 times, maybe 4. Its such a big show I would depending how to define binge, watch maybe 2 episodes a night, not one a week, or it would take ages to watch and whilst I consider it a great show to watch in the winter months when there's not much to do, I would not want to watch in the summer. Having watched this show 3 times at least, it seems to unfold differently and I see scenes that I never saw before in a way where you can see hidden messages the creator has put in. Some of which are actually hilarious and I wondered how I had missed them before.
I liked Pinky Blinders but the scenario with the Italian mafia was laughable, the mere few Irish travellers would have been off'd in no time.
