NETFLIX having trouble playing that title

At some point during the course of watching something on Netflix via Virgin media, the action will freeze, the screen goes black, and a message appears saying:

'We're having trouble playing this title at the
moment. Please try again later or select a
different title.'

It's then impossible to select any title at all for a few minutes, then everything goes back to normal.

Is this caused by:
Too many people watching at once?
Too many people watching what I want to watch?
My internet connection being slow?
Netflix prioritising another customer?
A cabal of my enemies operating within Netflix?

That's interesting, is there any reason it doesn't seem to happen on Amazon prime?
