Watched the first episode and was completely underwhelmed. Another BBC rip off of “I’m a celebrity…”. Lots of talking Mumbo jumbo along the lines of “finding myself” and “the power within”. Zero excitement, zero tension and too much false jeopardy.
The BBC advertised this, stating “the celebrities have no idea what they have let themselves in for,” or similar. Well, I would disagree, with Duty of Care and Risk Assessments, Disclaimer clauses etc, flying around, I am convinced they know exactly what to expect. Lee Mack doing his best to add some humour into the proceedings. The word meaning of the word “celebrity” has really diminished over the last few years.
The whole thing was about as exciting as watching paint dry.
