HBO documentary charting the rise & fall of Elizabeth Carmichael, a larger-than-life entrepreneur who rose to prominence with her promotion of a fuel-efficient, three-wheeled car known as The Dale.

Worth a punt.

Just watched episode 1, bloody hell, what a tale, moved 21 times in 2 years (cheaper than paying rent...) with one woman and had 5 children with 3 different women before then marrying another one and having 5 children and then transitioning and becoming their 'other mother' to avoid the authorities (and the mob)...

If you thought John DeLorean could spin a story he was an amateur compared to this person.

I'm old enough that I should remember the Dale car and I think I vaguely recognise the shape but never heard all this story about it.
