Happened to stroll up on this while channel surfing. Not sure if this should be in the "bit council forum". I was so horrified by the look and manner of bidders and over acting. Never watched this before but confused that at the end the winner bidder makes up some imaginary value of what st they have bought ??.

Totally staged - you'll note that only the regulars ever seem to win the bid. I saw one once where they had to bid on an MGB roadster and a Minor Traveller which both looked in OK nick and nobody present seemed to have a clue. The cars went for circa £1500 each and the "auctioneer" reckoned that was about right. "Planted" I suppose to create the show.

Yep it's complete nonsense. When I stumbled upon it, I assumed having won the container we'd then see them sell the stuff at auction or boot sales or somewhere else in the real world, and then there'd be a final reckoning to see who came out on top. But no - they buy the container, stick their finger in the air, mark their own homework and that's it. It's like there's half the programme missing. Very strange.

When this first came out, someone on here posted links to all the main bidders pages on an "I'm an actor, hire me" site.

In some states in the US, storage auctions are real. In the UK they are not.

Sure the fat bloke that shouts BOOM is broon breed, load of fake tosh, you see them all parading in a circle to get a look into the locker and they hardly give it a glance laugh

This programme is really dredging the bottom of the barrel.
