I'm looking forward to this

Looks like they have 'updated' it somewhat - but it even so...

Yeah the trailer showed we now have politically correct cuckoos...... it won't be the same.

Used to have a kid who lived in same road, who was like one of them kids. It would come up to you or knock on the door then just stare at you in an emotionless state. Even more scary was it was ginger!

Looking forward to it, but feel slightly disappointed it’s yet another version of this when The Chrysalids still hasn’t been adapted.

+1
We've also had two versions of Random quest and at least three versions of Day of the Triffids.

There's also The Kraken Wakes which to my knowledge has never been adapted to screen.

Binged a few last night as they are all available as of yesterday smile

Very much enjoying it so far, the acting/direction/kids are suitably eek

Both the film versions are called Village of the Damned, which you might maybe have heard of.

Watched the first episode earlier today. It was like the worst kind of ITV drama.

Like any ITV drama - the first episode is just scene setting

Finished it tonight. I've not read the book but knew the 'plot' - stick with it, one of the best things I've seen on TV for a while now - well worth the time

Watched this over the weekend. Very gripping in the first few episodes, the ending felt rather abrupt and hurried with a few unanswered questions.

Still very good, nonetheless.
