I have to say that this looks good (having decent source material is a huge help I guess!)

I was just about to start this thread. Probably the best sci fi book I've read, so I'm both very excited and very nervous about this. How they're going to film the time-shift bits I have no idea, and I'm a little concerned from the trailer they're just going to turn it into an incomprehensible action thriller like Tenet instead, but fingers crossed.
Really enjoying it so far. Departing from the book slightly now but still very interested to see where it goes.
As I said in the Amazon prime thread, as it feels like they're progressing through the book's main arc relatively quickly, I do hope they can make a decent long-lasting story to keep the quality up for a few seasons.
I just heard that Westworld has been cancelled so I hope this doesn't fall down in the same way.

How good is Lowbeer? Not at all what I pictured from reading the book - instead much, much better.
I actually thought the opposite. One of my favourite characters in the book, seemed a bit robotic to me but hopefully she'll grow into it. I'm not really feeling the sense of gradual escalation I remember from the book. I thought the hitman was pleasantly scary, but going from a special forces team with invisible cars to a single grey haired man with a knife isn't escalation.
