Trailer Park Boys
Discussion
I absolutely love TPB! I had no idea many other people had watched it as it never gets mentioned! It is hugely underrated and under the radar IMO!
I only realised it existed about 18 months ago, and then binge watched my way through it all over the course of a few months. I also laughed so much when Julian crawled out of the rolled truck with his rum and coke still full
So many laughs and the storylines are brilliant. I love Mr Lahey's total and utter decent into alcoholism and his constant 's
tisms'
"I'm watching you Julian, like a s
thawk"
"I'm sick of you crying s
twolf!"
"Randy, we'll catch those s
theads in a s
tshare!"
"You don't cross my s
tline!"
If any one is wondering what on earth we are talking about, all 12 seasons of Trailer Park Boys are on Netflix.

one of my fav shows, falls apart at the end with a lot of the staff quitting due to min wage and or abuse by 'bubbles' in the real world
its pretty sad watching them still trying to milk it
Maybe I'm easily amused but it still seemed well written and funny in the last couple of seasons, even after as you say, the departure of Trevor and Lucy, and I would go so far as to say the production values are certainly better as you move through the seasons. The first couple were pretty shonky quality in places its pretty sad watching them still trying to milk it
I get that it's supposed to be a poorly filmed 'documentary' but it was a little too amateur in the very early days!President Merkin said:
Better than store bought, Randy.
It was glorious. obvs made on a shoestring but that was just part of the charm. Ultimately it ran out of steam but I love it all the same. John Dunsworth played just about the best on screen drunk I ever saw.
100% right about John Dunsworth. Best drunk acting ever. Some of the 'drunk storylines' are hilarious. Especially when he loses it completely and insists to Randy that 'the booze will tell us what to do' and 'listen to the liquor talking' It was glorious. obvs made on a shoestring but that was just part of the charm. Ultimately it ran out of steam but I love it all the same. John Dunsworth played just about the best on screen drunk I ever saw.

Sadly John Dunsworth died a few years ago aged only 71. He was apparently a really nice guy off camera.

One of the best things ever on TV. Later series not quite as good but still entertaining. I find it really hard to avoid inserting Lahey's "s
tisms" or Ricky's general malapropisms into daily conversation.
Way she goes, boys. Way she f
kin' goes.
