As old as the hills but I've just discovered it and am absolutely in love with it.

The highlight so far was Bubbles rolling the truck and Julian climbing out still with his full tumbler of rum.

I absolutely love TPB! I had no idea many other people had watched it as it never gets mentioned! It is hugely underrated and under the radar IMO!

I only realised it existed about 18 months ago, and then binge watched my way through it all over the course of a few months. I also laughed so much when Julian crawled out of the rolled truck with his rum and coke still full rofl

So many laughs and the storylines are brilliant. I love Mr Lahey's total and utter decent into alcoholism and his constant 'stisms' rofl

"I'm watching you Julian, like a sthawk"
"I'm sick of you crying stwolf!"
"Randy, we'll catch those stheads in a stshare!"
"You don't cross my stline!"

If any one is wondering what on earth we are talking about, all 12 seasons of Trailer Park Boys are on Netflix.

I'm blasting through and am on the third series. I need to start rationing a little. they are currently dealing with a stoned tiger/leopard/jaguar type thing that ravaged Trevor and Corey.

It's one of my favourites the rum rollover is hilarious. One of my favourite bits of TV is in the first series where they steal the ride on mower, telling the film crew to assist.
The hash driveway was another highlight.

one of my fav shows, falls apart at the end with a lot of the staff quitting due to min wage and or abuse by 'bubbles' in the real world

its pretty sad watching them still trying to milk it

Maybe I'm easily amused but it still seemed well written and funny in the last couple of seasons, even after as you say, the departure of Trevor and Lucy, and I would go so far as to say the production values are certainly better as you move through the seasons. The first couple were pretty shonky quality in places hehe I get that it's supposed to be a poorly filmed 'documentary' but it was a little too amateur in the very early days!

Better than store bought, Randy.

It was glorious. obvs made on a shoestring but that was just part of the charm. Ultimately it ran out of steam but I love it all the same. John Dunsworth played just about the best on screen drunk I ever saw.

100% right about John Dunsworth. Best drunk acting ever. Some of the 'drunk storylines' are hilarious. Especially when he loses it completely and insists to Randy that 'the booze will tell us what to do' and 'listen to the liquor talking' rofl

Sadly John Dunsworth died a few years ago aged only 71. He was apparently a really nice guy off camera.

One of the best things ever on TV. Later series not quite as good but still entertaining. I find it really hard to avoid inserting Lahey's "stisms" or Ricky's general malapropisms into daily conversation.

Way she goes, boys. Way she fkin' goes.

I think my favourite story line was J Roc getting caught w******g & writing a rap about it.

'It happened to me, it could happen to you.'

And little details like the price tag that stayed on Ricky's jacket for a whole season.

“Lahey?! How drunk are you?!”

“Six outta ten”

Comedy genius in the earlier seasons.
