Clues were from Treasure Hunt. Her other TV show from back in the day. Both were great.

I am still annoyed with her because my contribution, as a young Boy Scout, to re-whitening Weymouth's White Horse was left on the cutting room floor.

It was interesting lesson as a child to realise everything on television is faked and nothing in the show that was aired was like what was filmed.

Not only was it all prearranged weeks in advance, but filming was done over at least a couple of days rather than rushing to do it all in a day as portrayed on screen.

Also, the work done on the 'Challenge' wasn't completed (or not up to standard) so the council had to spend a load of money finishing it off.

That reminds me of working on a programme about kids cleaning up a beach.

The beach the crew got to was as clean as a whistle so the producer called up the local council and got them to send a truck over to dump rubbish on said beach for the kids to be filmed cleaning up.

Mid 90s this was.

Won't be watching as I always found her quite annoying.

Then again, I always though she was very fit and that hasn't changed either...

I wonder what persuaded her to go for a reboot at this time ?

I'm sure every broadcaster through the decades has tried to interest her in a relaunch.

The follow-up to Treasure Hunt featuring Anneka with her Challenges, had a short shelf life.

Better to re-boot the original TH with heli's and a fit 'sky runner', is something I would watch!
