Those actors that are never in a leading role but out perform everyone they are surrounded by.

I'm rewatching to The West Wing for the millionth time, see the comfort series thread. I always liked Sam but as I age I find I identify more with Leo. John Spencer who plays him is excellent, he can say so much with a roll of eyes or a facial expression. Can't think I've seen him in much else, small part in the Rock, was good in Sea of Love with Al Pacino though.

The other one I can think of is Luiz Guzzman, he is always excellent but always a quiet supporting role that can easily go unnoticed.

Who else you got?

ETA - yes I've realised I mistyped quiet in the title.

I've always been a fan of Walton Goggins since he was in The Shield, though I think he's going to be the lead in the Fallout TV series.

Also, Al Leong. No henchman henches like Al Leong!

Bonus points for his wedding announcement:

Good call, that's the guy that nicks the candy bar while waiting for the police to break in to the building in Die Hard isn't it?

His mate, the chubbier bald guy who's in the same Wing Kong gang in BTILC with the pistols also seems to pop up in a lot of stuff.
