Come on admit it - it’s your guilty pleasure!

I’ve had to cut my TikTok live stream short to catch the start.

Interesting ladies this time.

Sorry DS. Normally on your side on many things but not this one I'm afraid.

My Mrs is addicted to it. I can see how it sucks you in and I'm old school in that it's always nice to see a pleasantly proportioned arse on the telly..... but whenever I watch it, I can see and hear the IQs falling out of my head smile

The thickest most shallow people on the planet being given a platform so people can idolise them?

This program is everything wrong with our social media, image obsessed, famous for no reason, Zero talent world we live in.

I think I will pass.

The wife will be watching it, I'll probably dip in and out as and when it's on and we are together, however I certainly won't be going out of my way to watch it and any recordings where she can't want it live, I certainly won't be telling her to hold on can we watch it together, bit of a pain that it is one of these shows that is on every day.

I have occasionally wondered, given the mental health of young girls in particular when it comes to how they believe they should look and act due to all the social media "influencers" and social media in genera, portraying a totally unrealistic view of how one (particularly women and girls) should look and act, that something like this show is actually kind of allowed, given its is all full of exactly the type of people that portray this; surgically enhanced bodies, attractive people, chiselled men etc, it's all about how they look.

Basically me as well. I watched one series with Mrs UTH many years ago, ever since I usually have to leave the room when she puts it on. Even the best looking ladies in the world can't keep my interested once I hear them talking.

I have however seen a headline this morning that there is shock that the public have paired the black contestants together. Never been sure where I sit on that topic, from what I've seen the black contestants often do end up together naturally, but this time it sounds like the public actually put them together? Personally I don't see why that's a bad thing, but I'm sure there are thousands who think it's terribly racist. Blah blah.

The missus will watch it and I'll probably get sucked in as usual.

It's just on and takes so much time up.

Watched ep1 last night and even the contestants didn’t seem terribly enthusiastic - perhaps because they were standing around in swimwear when it didn’t really look the weather for it.

I've only ever seen it on Gogglebox. I have zero interest, and so does my wife.

I don't understand what's supposed to be entertaining about it.

I’m not above watching some tidy birds filling their bikinis but even I normally give up on this tripe after a brief research period.

The conversations they have are totally inane. Must be set up by the show producers surely. All they ever waffle on about is relationships, that is literally the only topic of conversation.

Anyway I’ll probably have a quick look biggrin

Love Island and Made In Chelsea, exactly what you say above, it is the ONLY topic they ever talk about. And for some reason Mrs UTH loves both shows.....

That’s being kind, I’m quite surprised (speaking as the chiselled Adonis I am)

We didn't watch the winter one this year, however we did watch last nights though(and have watched the summer ones previously as well). I didn't think that is was too bad and I will keep watching for now, however the people in it aren't the brightest as mentioned though.

Most of them are hand picked by the show, and only going on it so they can have a full time job as an influencer

Garbage.

When the inevitable enquiries into safeguarding at ITV begin I hope this show and its producers get the scrutiny they deserve.

I agree entirely. It is genuinely painful and a real sad state of affairs.

I can't blame the people as the riches which can be gained are way in excess of working.

I have a mate who's really good friends with a couple off of it and the wealth they seem to have is incredible, especially for such young people. I would image she would be lucky to have a job doing nails or similar in the real world.
