I put stuff in 'Watch Later'.

Currently I have 6 videos in Watch Later, but a grey box tells me one of them is unavailable.

Is there any way to find out what it was that I wanted to watch later that's subsequently become unavailable and, more importantly, is there any way to remove it from Watch Later, given I can't see it?

boxy but good

Thank you. I'm on Android not PC, and that video seems to suggest I need my own YT channel, which I don't have.

Was it a music video? These seem to get deleted frequently due to copyright or somesuch.

I don't know. smile

I doubt it, because music videos tend to go into a playlist, not watch later.

Can you share the link of it with us?

Huh?

It's unavailable. There is no link.

You won't be able to see any information on the unavailable video, you can however have it displayed (albeit with no information) in your Watch Later playlist by clicking the option to show unavailable videos (I don't have an Android device, but the option is there on the website) - the video posted above shows this from ~40 seconds in (ignore the part before that, just bring up your Watch Later playlist) and then you'll be able to remove it (but again no information will be provided to identify what the video is/was).

Edit: If the Android app is like the iOS app, the option should appear by clicking the hamburger icon (three vertical dots) at the top-right of the display after you've brought up your Watch Later playlist.

Android doesn't seem to give me that option.

I've logged on with a PC and I can see that the video was deleted by whoever uploaded it. So I still don't know what it was, but at least I've been able to remove it from my Watch Later.

It was deleted by the uploader, so it didn't have a link.

It still has a link, otherwise you couldn't see that it has been deleted
It's probably in your computer's browser history

I got a grey bar which said "1 video unavailable"

I went onto a pc and was able to find the option to show unavailable videos and the only option available to me was to remove it from watch later.

There was no link because there was no way to select the video. If I clicked on it, nothing happened.

Strange, must have changed recently, they keep meddling with the website and making it worse
