Watching his latest programme, couple with a1930s semi in Manchester.

They've managed to rip out every last it of character from the interior. Shame.

He said the house had "faded grandeur" and the rooms were "stuck in the past"

That is the grandeur, you fkwit! Arts & Crafts isn't 21st century.

Also, why did they bother moving those walls on the top floor? "We've got three rooms, and we want three rooms in the same places as they are now, to do the same function that they do now, so let's throw ten grand at taking a door out."

He could'nt have blown more smoke up their behinds if he tried

Cringed watching it a few times, especially the old boy that used to live there now looks like he's in some poky flat

Mrs and I both said wouldn't be disappointed if we missed it next week

What was with the pretend reveal at the end, when we were supposed to believe the owners didn't know what their new bedroom looked like?

Shan't bother next week.

They do that every show.
As for original features, not for me, I want a house that suits me now,not when it was built else we'd all be living with rat infested cellars, sculleries and outdoor loos smile

I know you can’t trust much on TV, but George was rather cheeky last night. When he was taking to the couple about building a double walk-in wardrobe anyone would have thought he’d come up with the idea himself, but in reality their joiner - also our joiner - had the idea.

A walk-in wardrobe is a cupboard big enough to get in. If your walk-in wardrobe has wardrobes in it then it's a dressing room.
