About 25-30 years ago there was an American tv shoe kind of like gladiators where two teams went head to head on physical challenges. I remember one of the events was on roller skates though a sort of maze.
It was gold vs purple but can't remember anything else about it.
Does anyone know what it was called its really bugging me.

AI to the rescue (google Bard):

The TV show you are thinking of is probably **Battle of the Network Stars**. It was an American television sports entertainment show that aired on various networks from 1976 to 1988. The show featured celebrities from different television networks competing against each other in a variety of physical challenges.

One of the challenges on the show was a roller skating maze. The maze was made up of obstacles, such as cones and ramps, and the contestants had to skate through it as quickly as possible. The team that finished the maze first won the challenge.

The colors gold and purple were often used to represent the two teams on Battle of the Network Stars. For example, in the 1977 season, the gold team was made up of celebrities from CBS, and the purple team was made up of celebrities from NBC.

I hope this helps!

There's a sticky at the top of the page for this. Some true experts lurk in there.
