So which films have you watched (too) many times?

I am not sure which is top of my list. Some of the Ghibli movies I have seen a lot because I watched them with my daughter (as she loves them). Possibly Howl’s Moving Castle.

The Wizard of Oz I’ve seen lots of times as it used to be on every Christmas when I was young.

I think I’ve seen Star Wars quite a few times too.

Not to forget The Life of Brian. Actually that might be No 1.

Strangely there are some films I really liked but have only seen them once. Sometimes because it would be too hard to watch them again but also because they never appear on TV / streaming.

What about yours?

The Butterfly Effect... introduced it to quite a few people.
(They all seemed to enjoy it).

Probably Star Treks, Die Hards, Star Wars, Bonds, Mission Impossibles.

They're all films that if they're on "live" TV I'll probably watch them and if I want background noise they're probably my "go to" on the streaming platforms.

Not counted, but it’ll be one of this bunch…

Star Wars
Return Of The Jedi
Ghostbusters
Aliens
Terminator
Terminator 2
Star Trek Wrath Of Khan
Star Trek First Contact
By Dawn’s Early Light (bit of an outlier there)

I’d *probably* go with the first

My first part-time job when I was still at school was working in a cinema. There are several films I saw more than 100 times, but the film that ran the longest whilst I was there and saw well over 200 times was 'Flash Gordon'.

Aside from that the film I have chosen to watch the most, and will still watch if I happen across it on the TV guide is 'Where Eagles Dare'

Back to the Future
Home Alone 1 & 2
Goldeneye
Italian Job (original)
Tokyo Drift
Shawshank
Harry Potter (all)
Top Gun

I think Saving Private Ryan takes the top spot though, I've watched that a ridiculous number of times.
