Can't see another thread on it so thought I'd start one

Looks a bit Rogue One from the trailer.

Total Meh,

Yet another 'somthing dark trying to kill Jedi's' zzz

Cant they think of a single thing different? Apart from the brilliant Andor, everything starwars is a total yawn fest.

As usual, it looks like it could be good. I'll wait and see.

Going on pure odds alone there's surely got to be a consistently decent Star Wars series at some point.

Looks like just because its got that bird from the matrix in it, it must then have rip off matrixy style fights. Really original.

its the classic - "get another actor in from a sci fi fan base to bring them into ours and watch it please please please" scenario - was done a lot in a variety of tv series (stargate, star trek, etc etc) - the entire trailer probably spans the action for the entire tv series and we'll just get a drip fed it - wow - i'm really so cynical now about star wars / disney .............

That’s summed it up nicely. Another contrived load of cow manure to avoid.

Yes. That's dead good. First two episodes are very boring though.

Just when you thought the fandom couldn't get more toxic, here people are stting on something that hasn't even come out yet that no one knows anything about bar two lines of generic plot.

There's been a rich, rich history of sticky poop to draw on.

I'm sure all are open to having expectation exceeded.

Maybe, really does seem like the on-trend thing to do now is to hate anything new rather than you know, wait and see. The downvoting on YT is a joke. Everything they make won't be for everyone, people forget how lucky they are to have anything outside the first 3/6 films.

It’s nothing of the sort. If you watch the vid and listen to her waffle, it tells you all you need to know about the (predictable) direction it’s taken.

Hey; if I’m wrong, I’ll happily admit it.

Sorry but I don’t agree with any of that. We should be lucky they’re making them, so we should all lap up the crap being delivered. Please.

It's more like the definition of insanity given Disney's recent track record.
