Exactly, I can barely remember what happened in the first one.

This is 100% on my watch list. Just noticed that it will be on IMAX so that is going to happen with my Odeon limitless smile

Loved the original so this is one not to mix (accept that it might be a major disappointment but the trailers look good).

This is a solid 3 out of 10.

Right out of the blocks it's dragging itself along.

Couldn't disagree more, I loved it. Probably more than the original and that's a high bar. Watched it on IMAX and bought the DVD on release day and have watched it twice more since then. Each to their own though, would be a dull world if we all liked the same things.

Pretty much my thoughts

Alot of hype but struggled to live up to it

Same. Watched this over Christmas and it was just too confused, too many plotlines that went nowhere and simply involved lots of running around. A big baddie that took seconds to get rid of and the set pieces were just pale copies of the last one. Serious disappointment

Was it even a Tim Burton film or did he have a fall out mid shooting and someone else edited and finished it?

I didn't mind it, but agree that it was a bit convoluted for what it was. I was also surprised at the use of Jeffrey Jones' image in the film, considering the reason he wasn't actually in it!

Ok, but won't need to see it again.

I would concur. Convoluted storyline that brought nothing new to the table.

It was OK but a missed opportunity IMHO.

Alec Baldwin Isn’t in this sequel either. Apparently he was too busy making actual ghosts.
