Anyone else find 'The Sandman' slightly boring and slow?

I really wanted to like it, being a Neil Gaiman fan - but although I never read the comics, I still thought it would be special - but apart from the production values, it left me a bit unimpressed.

I agree. The bad guy (The one with the glasses) stood out, but I am inclined to agree it didnt make much of an impression.

I enjoyed it. I did find the shift between two separate stories in a single series a bit odd though.

I enjoyed it. Having read the comics/graphic novels some years ago thought the did a pretty good and accurate adaptation.

Looking forward to the new episodes (apparently it's not a season 2 for some reason) when they arrive.

Good point.

It seems they've kept with the production and filming wrapped only a few days ago though so fingers crossed we still get it.
