Hi,

Appleogies for the new thread. I did search through the main film and "what are you watching" posts but it was hard to really pick out what I am looking for.

My Mum and her Partner are visiting next week. Both late 60s but a good laugh and easy going.

Requirements

Movie or TV show
Short - say, around 2 hours. Definitely none which are 3 hours
Easy watching is critical - the sort you can drift off and not lose anything

Optional

Funny - not required but welcome as it fits into the above

Examples

Recently watched Beverley Hills Cop 1/2/3 and although it's not a cinematic masterpiece it was just fun and easy to follow

Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

All the Bons films are on Amazon prime. Go full Partridge: in order please

and speaking of Partridge, Alpha Pappa is good fun. The Cornetto trilogy is worth a watch
For daft fun, Airplane and the first sequel is fun.

Or go back to what you watched as a teen: Waynes World? Jurassic park?? The Jim Carey film is s a decent collection of films

And my favorite: Apollo 13

I told my children how hilarious that was. so we watched it together and there was the occasional brief titter.

Ditto Austin Powers movies and Fawlty Towers, but less tittering.

I am sure they used to be hilarious.
