Just finished this. No spoilers, but it just gets better. Very good, very dark in places, as others have said, great cast!!

Finished the series last night - very good indeed. A few bits of unresolved issues suggesting perhaps another series in the pipeline? scratchchin

So, you lot think the two best things to watch on tv at the moment are:
1) something sad, dark and thought provoking
2) a depressing Belfast police drama

Remind me to never give you buggers the remote!

I'd not say either were depressing. Give them a go.

Ah right, sorry. Sad & dark meant full of the joys of spring.

Yeah, think I’ll hide both remotes from you!

Loving it so far. Going to watch it on TV each week. I'm old fashioned in that I like to spend a week looking forward to the next episode of something!

Some people like feeling depressed and upset - that's why upsetting and depressing dramas are so popular.

I am constantly looking for TV shows to watch, but as it was on the BBC I googled "are there any trans characters in Riot Women" and when the answer (as I was certain it would be) was "it's the virtue signalling woketard BBC, of course it f-ing does" I decided not to bother.

I've now watched the whole series and it was much better than I had anticipated when I saw the trailers. I do think there will be a second series.
