Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere
Discussion
We saw this at the cinema yesterday. I decided to go after hearing a promotional interview on Radio 2 earlier in the week and was actually sold on it.
I’m not a huge Springsteen fan, so didn’t have any preconceptions. The main actor, Jeremy Allen White is superb in the role. The film opens with a live concert and he gets the mannerisms and voice just right.
The cinematography is also noteworthy - rainy streets in an early 80s New York, for example.
Worth watching. (4 stars in today’s Sunday Times, BTW!)
