They hit 200 mph on occasion, if it went wrong it could do so in a very big way, we have seen it with Top Gear.
Love their content but would hate to see anyone get hurt.

I did quote a few VMAX events at Bruntingthorpe back in the day and plenty of cars there were doing multiple 200 mph runs throughout the day. I think there was only one incident there when one very highly modded 911 hit around 230 mph and left the braking too late and crashed into a grass bank at the end of the runway. No casualties though fortunately.There is always the possibility of a tyre blow out but I'm sure they check everything as much as they can before the run and they always have fire and ambulance cover there.

As Carwow is a big brand brand they will try and minimise the risks involved, they will follow HSE guidelines with full fire and medic cover
Also I believe they have mentioned in a few videos that racing driver Sam is HSE officer on site
But they can only do so much and I do think sometimes how quickly it could all go wrong

I find some of the drag races pretty entertaining but ultimately, drag races are pretty boring and doesn't give a fair reflection of a cars or bikes capabilities.
Look at the KTM Moto GP (ridden by a certain D Pedrosa) bike vs a KTM road bike Vs {fast Car} and see the difference between a really fast bike vs a fast bike vs a fast car
The bike vs car challenges seem to be the most entertaining as you need a lot of skill to launch a fast bike whereas the car driver simply engages launch control and plant's his right foot with little else to worry about
some of the other races I'm not arsed about such as if a butt ugly new M2 is 0.003s faster than a butt ugly new Audi rs3 or whatever.
I think the channel would be more entertaining if they done other stuff other than drag racing but it gets them views and money so who am I to argue.

I just don’t get the attraction myself .
I have had a number of cars with launch control as a feature and I tried it on a new M6 in 2006. Seemed silly to me and I never bothered with subsequent cars. In the end I am not going to drag cars and the performance differences will never translate into any driving I do myself,.
