Please let it be good!! My absolute favourite childhood toy and cartoon.

The voiceover in the video above sounds very similar to John Erwin, the voice of He-Man, too.

Looking forward to seeing it!

Hopefully it's better than that crappy Dolph Lundgren effort from back in the day.

Objectively not a good film but I still have a lot of affection for that film.

As a kid I was really disappointed with that film. Dolph looked great as He-Man, and Skeletor was quite good, but all the rest fell flat for me.

Where was the awesome Prince Adam transformation, why was it set on earth, where were all the characters from the cartoon and toyline? Most were non existent and replaced with crappy new ones.

I understand why now as an adult, but as a kid it was disappointing.

Fingers tightly crossed for the new one!

hmmm.... the world crossover thing - surely that's been done a lot?

Hopefully Dolph will make a small appearance in it - that would be cool at least!

Idris is in everything at the moment!!!

I'm optimistic. Apparently the test screenings have been overwhelmingly positive.

I'm not sure what expectations I had, but I think it looked really good!

Apart from the characters already noted in the pre-teaser trailer, I saw Fisto, Beast Man, Evil Lyn and I think Spikor. Skeletor looks decent.

I like the idea of Adam being an adult geek. Something us who grew up with He-Man and are now in our 40s will relate to. biggrin

Please film makers, don't ruin my childhood. hehe

This looks fking excellent biggrin

As a kid who grew up with He-Man (still have the action figures somewhere) I've been cautiously optimistic about this. I agree that the previous film was a little disappointing as a kid, but alot more enjoyable as an adult. They made that film for no money though and it kind of shows.

Skeletor looks excellent, Battle Cat is perfect. The tone is great as well, I love that they're leaning into the 80s vibe. Looks like it'll be quite meta.

The humour also looks great, loved the little pronouns gag on his desk name plate smile I shall be seated.

Oooooh that looks really good!!

Probably asking too much here but it would be biblically epic, and probably reduce me to tears if, upon the first transformation from Adam to He-Man, if the classic music started blasting out of the cinema!

For children today you would totally understand (if they watched this, the various Marvel offerings, Superman, etc) how they would be certain that a multi-verse IS the only option biglaugh

I like Idris, but there must be some other actors able to take some of his slots, surely?

Yes actually does look decent, and true to the cartoon.

Guessing She-Ra turns up in the end credit scene.

It's gonna happen...Travis Knight knows the 80s the trailer was dripping in nostalgia. There were a couple of bars in this one, although possibly slightly jazzed up.

Funny isn't it, watching the trailer I was thinking to myself "come on, say it, sat it!" And then my girlfriend, who I don't think has really any interest in He-Man suddenly said "He better say it..." rofl

Great trailer and they seem to know what they're doing.

Similar, does look good although some of the CGI looks a little iffy
