Woke up feeling like absolute crap this morning and noticed The Italian Job (the proper one) is is on Sky.

Bit of a pointless post, but what a cracking film, and why the hell do they feel the need to try and "better" originals like this with remakes - a rhetorical question I know, they do it to make a lot of money.

I've never seen the original, but I saw the remake and it was garbage, put me off actually going out and getting the original.

Last time I watched the original, I went down the carport, pulled the tarp off the mini, put the crazy engine in, rebuilt the suspension and went for a big hoon.

The original is class.

If you put a convex mirror 27 degrees vertical and 43 degrees from horizontal I could see straight into matrons room!
