Did anyone see this yesterday? I saw a pilot being filmed, and they have definatly improved it. Thought Russell looked so awkward, it was funny during the mystery person. It is trying to be a bit like T.V Burp, but for adults.

Undecided at the moment. I like the guy, but not sure about the format.

Yeah, The bits where he ad-libbed were good. I think some of the sketches were a bit dull, like the 2 guys in the pub. Not bad though. I will give it another go next week.

Very hit and miss. Some genuinely laugh out loud bits combined with some painfully embarrasing and unfunny sections (tattoed lady).

I shall be watching it next week as I like the format.

I think there were quite a few missed jokes with the old lady.
Her opening answer was "I travel a lot" to which a gypsy joke could have easily been made, then later on she just says "You really want to know" when asked if there were many people there and he says "yes" then she cackles madly, that's a bit of an opening for an alzheimer convention joke.
I think he's better at writing jokes (Most of mock the week is pre written btw)

You are Frankie Boyle AICMFP hehe

I liked it, but there were bits that missed. I'm going to see his stand up show in December so this will be a good fore-runner to that I reckon.

A bit patchy but may find its level after a few weeks.

Although I do find that he does that fist-shaking-to-the-sky why/damn you? stuff a bit too much.

Careful, if you watch the show you may see his material cropping up during the stand up. I hate it when that happens.
I think I'll call it Boyle Syndrome.

The Boris Johnson thing was funny, along with the pregnancy opera.

One thing that I don't like about the show is the last bit, yes I agree they are heartwarming items, but it just dosn't fit into the show. Especially the item a couple of weeks ago about the terminally ill child who hid notes around the house for her parents to find after she passed away. Heartwarming yes, but it meant to be a comedy show, instead it left me feeling quite upset.

If you haven't seen it yet the girl in some of the sketches is Madison Welch who was James May's co-driver on that Majorcan rally. cloud9

I agree on the end bit. It just seems tacked on and strange for the format.
