I'm sorry but I am loving this new program. Great characters and great writing and oh so funny.

And just to add the cherry to the top one of the stars is Sofía Vergara.... hubba hubba

Not only does she look spectacular but her accent turns me to jelly

Just watched last nights episode (from the states)....still very, very funny.

Quite amusing that they've seen how people accept the mocumentry format in The Office even though the makers of that show have competed ignored any sense of realism with regards the format....they use it as an artistic tool only. So Modern Family have done the same.....its filmed like a mockumentary but what they actually film is a standard single camera sit com.

I love it. I don't think it's not the same format as the Office, the to cameras part seem more like When Harry Met Sally and and are not carried over in the rest of the show.

watching it now. Best US sitcom for a while and the latino bird is gorgeousbiggrin

I see that hotty's name is "foreign" but I thought the accent was being put on by a rather crap actress. It sounds so unreal. Would still love to slip her a length, obviously.

Really? I think it's one of the most jarring accents I've ever heard!

The Mrs and me love this, there are some priceless moments in it, one of the few programmes that has me howling at times.

One of the very few US comedies that give me laugh out loud moments.

All the different sets of characters have their own brilliant moments and there isn't a weak aspect.

This weeks iPad episode was one of the best. Especially the baseball moment (I won't expand more - if you've seen it you'll know, if you haven't it won't be a spoiler for you).

Talking of the Columbian - I loved the scene in an earlier series where she is on the trampoline and there is just a line of dads just standing there watching her.

I was crying when the Gay fellow was putting his size 10's in his mouth talking to her... biggrin
