Just seen someones status on facebook that blanch, of coronation street fame has died, anyone got any more info?

Heard this on Granada reports last night, shame, allways thought she was older though like 90 not 75. RIP.

75!!! Deidre must be older than 75 so how can her mother be younger?

Also is it her real mother because they do look alike?

It's not, but whoever cast her in that role deserves a medal. They really could have been Mother and Daughter.

True, but I don't think we'll be seeing much of Blanche from now on.
