Common sense alone should be enough to know that's BS.

Yes you heard it right. Not a penny more on your council tax, not a penny more than the bill you paid last year.

We’d all get frozen Council Tax rates and pothole-free roads if we didn’t palm off our old relatives on the state to look after.

That's two years ago. He seems to be saying he would freeze it for 23/24 if he was in power. But he wasn't, so he could say anything.

Or if 25% of council tax wasn’t spent propping up the Public Sector Ponzi Pensions Scheme.

Ooohh you can’t go saying that.

The mass of public sector layout pretend jobsworths are like covid heroes!

(I appreciate a good chunk are decent, but a good chunk just aren’t but somehow our society entertains paying them)

In my constituency, Reform just got in on the recent wards by- elections. According to their flyer that came through the door, along with "stop fly tipping" they said that they would freeze council tax.

But they're not in power, so they can say anything...

Did they say they would freeze it for this year if they where in power?

SKS's offer was time limited.

Oh let me just find it in my scrapbook...

I DON'T KNOW! laugh

It was just an empty unworkable promise. Read it, smiled and went straight in the recycling bag

Whether or not they are decent, that doesn’t mean they should continue to get unaffordable and overly generous pensions.

Indeed.

They’re a mix of decent and layabout jobsworths.

But they were all promised stupid pensions by people who should have known better.

Then again Keir likes to break promises… just not ones for public sector voters hehe
