Removing bitumen from brickwork?

Just removed an old conservatory and have a line of bitumen on the bricks, anyone found a successful way of removing it?

Don't use solvents, it'll just soak in. Maybe chill it then remove it mechanically?

Pick off what you can with tools.Use a specialist remover like 'TarSolve'.

Blow torch and just burn it off or soften it enough to remove with a scrapper
