Patio edging cobble come loose

What’s the best way to repair this loose cobble gents ?

Buy a bag of postcrete.
Take out the cobble
Put some postcrete all over the hole
Put the cobble back in
Fill in any gaps with more postcrete
Moisten the whole thing with water (dont flood it) and it will set solidly.

I was thinking similar - knock up some mortar - or would that not be as strong ?

Postcretes pre mixed and about £7 a bag so if you only need a bit its not a big deal to bin it.
