Scaffolding tips

I've got both sides of the two storey house being scaffolded tomorrow so I can do Fascia work.
They'll be going over my garage which is a double apex and runs along the house.
Has anyone got any tips/input on what to watch out for with them when doing the job?
One thing im not sure about is roof tile damage, I've been on the garage a fair few times to do work and they seem pretty solid when walking on them.

Indeed, the only thing to ask them, is
"Would you like some tea and biscuits?"
And keep it coming.
Otherwise, just let them do their job.
If they are going over another tiled roof and they need to bear on top of it, they may well advise you that they can't guarantee a tile or two won't be cracked.
It will not be their fault if one does, it's just one of those things.

Mate. You have no idea. I’ve spent my life working with Scaffolders, plasterers, Brickie etc.
You really do have no idea. Leave them alone to do their jobs.
They are fuelled by coke as in cocaine and red bull. If you even for a second think you know better they will either punch you or walk off the job.
Have you ever seen a 5’2” man throwing a 22” scaffold tube about? These guys are a different breed.

this all day long, I work with scaffolders regularly and can confirm that they are a unique kind of person. Btw it's 22’ not 22” lrdisco said:

ts. Proper rough, Want to guess what they did for a living? The only advice I can provide is to give them a wide berth and under no circumstances stand underneath where any of them are working, or anywhere near where any of them are working - they will just drop fittings from the roof height without looking or considering what's beneath them.
Other than that, leave them to it. At best, they'll ignore anything you say anyway.

Gay porn?ts. Proper rough, Want to guess what they did for a living? I'm in charge of engineering for a big chemical plant, we have one good company that we deal with for any scaffolding. The boss keeps them on a tight leash because he knows it's a profitable gig for him. Before that - risk assessments/working at height permits/inductions......forget it, no chance. Best you could hope for is that they sup their Monsters, get the job done and fk off before starting a fight with anyone.

I 100% agree with every comment about scaffolders on this thread - they are indeed a completely different breed
Last time I needed to access a section of the roof to fix a leak around a soil pipe vent - I wasn't happy to work from a ladder (narrow gap between two houses) so I called in the lads - £400 later I effectively had a tower structure that I could lean a ladder onto and climb up and work happily on the roof.
The day after it was up I'd fixed the leak and re-pointed the ridge (seeing as I was up there anyway) so then began the efforts to get it removed............
6 week later it was finally removed after a lot broken promises and phone calls...............
