Mira Vier Digital shower issue.

We have a Mira Vier Digital shower and all has been good for many years. We went on holiday for 3 weeks and when I went to shower on arrival home it wouldn't come on. Noises happen, a slight dribble from the shower head but nothing else, the shut down noise happens after a few minutes which was normal.
Mira want £300 to replace the unit, if it needs to be paid then I'll pay it. But thought I'd ask her first. I've disconnected hot and cold feeds and checked the filters all is good, ive turned off the mains power hopping for a reset but nope, I've changed the batteries in the remote, still nothing.
Anyone else had this problem and resolved it?
