Hi,

We have had house rewired.

The kitchen is still gutted.

We are going to have a 2 oven and microwave stack.
With a hob next to it.

The electrician asked me whether i needed the wires for these embedded in the wall.
(victorian terrace - lime plaster on brick).

It seemed a bit pointless to me as its a thick bundle of wires, will be hidden in the space behind the cabinet, and we don't know exactly which ovens etc will go at which level.

My partner is pissed because of this.
She insists it needs to be embedded.

Does it matter for heck's sake?

I think it so much raider and more flexible with this bundle of wires easy to manipulate.

I’d leave them exposed like you have them till you know what’s going exactly where . Then either chop them in or just clip them where they need to go . Women eh !!!

No point chasing out walls if everything will be hidden in the end. Why not run them through some conduit to keep the install a bit more professional looking?
